This high quality 2 litre wet chemical fire extinguisher is supplied with a securely strapped wall bracket, a fire extinguisher location sign, and a wet chemical fire extinguisher identification sign.
When to use:-
Class A fires – Ordinary combustibles
Class F fires – Cooking oils and fats
Where to use:-
This wet chemical fire extinguisher is used for fighting deep fat fryer fires in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment. The 2 litre wet chemical fire extinguisher will protect up to 25 litres of cooking oil. Above that quantity please use the 7 litre wet chemical fire extinguisher. This fire extinguisher works by quickly applying a layer of wet chemical on top of the fire therefore removing the oxygen and preventing re-ignition. The heat source must be removed, by simply turning off the power source, if safe to do so.
This fire extinguisher can also be used for class A fires for ordinary combustible materials such as paper, cardboard and wood in place of a plain air / water fire extinguisher.
Where not to use:-
This wet chemical fire extinguisher is NOT TO BE USED for electrical fires under any circumstances.
